I am Alex Long, Personal Trainer at Arena Fit. I offer in depth, accurate training sessions and training programmes for my clients that are specific to helping them achieve their goals.

My passion for health and fitness started from a very early age when I wanted to grow my golfing game, which has now become an everyday part of my lifestyle and something I value very highly. Since starting my fitness journey I’ve been learning every step of the way and enjoy using my knowledge to help others and love seeing the improvements my clients make off of the back of their hard work in and out of our sessions. I will be continuing to grow my knowledge but also wish to use what I have learnt to teach others. I am constantly working on growing all aspects of my golf game, including areas like power, swing speed, flexibility, and stamina to make sure I can retain that power throughout 18 holes or more.

My work in the gym has helped in all aspects of my golf, for example, qualifying and playing in the junior European open, winning various men’s competitions and playing 72 holes of golf in one day for Macmillan cancer research UK. I enjoy working hard in the gym and wish to help others reap the rewards of it and achieve their goals whether it’s losing weight, putting on lean muscle, improving endurance or improving their golf game, the list goes on.
